Here you will find links to web pages that contain video instructions and/or written instructions on various different multimedia applications that are used for multimedia projects and activities.
Windows Movie Maker
You may want to use Windows Movie Maker to make a short video by using various pictures or various video clips and grouping them together.
If you own a computer that runs Microsoft Windows then this application is already on your computer - so no need to download it or buy it!
It can be found by clicking Start | All Programs | Windows Movie Maker.

You can also find lots of video tutorials on YouTube from people who use these applications.
All you have to do is go to the YouTube website www.youtube.com and type in what you want to look for.
YouTube is a great source of video tutorials and is extremely easy to use.
All you have to do is type in the search field what you want to look for, click search and select a video clip that you want to look at.
Camtastia Video
You may want to use Camtasia to do a short video of how to do something on your computer. Camtasia videos what you do on your computer screen and then you can edit it and narrate over it as you wish.
You can either download a free trial of this or buy it.
If you want to use it after your free trial contact the Staff Development Department at the office.
Microsoft PowerPoint
You may want to use Microsoft PowerPoint to create a presentation on a subject matter that you will be presenting to a group of people.
If you have Microsoft Office on your computer then this application is part of that pack and is on your computer - so no need to download it or buy it!
