Community Solutions - A Consultancy and Training Service
Community Solutions is a service set up by Community Lives Consortium in response to interest shown in the service development work the Consortium has been invloved in.
Started during 06/07, Community Solutions has been offering consultancy and training to other agencies and local authorities across the UK.
Community Solutions is comitted to supporting agencies, families or individuals to find creative solutions that help vulnerable adults to get the most out of their lives and lead the lives they may not think possible.
The key areas that Community Solutions can offer experience in are:
- Assistive Technology - How technology is supporting people to live more independently
- Person Centred Planning - especially using the creativity and power of multimedia
- Tenant Participation - How good tenant participation can make a real difference
- Swansea People - People and Places - Accessible online social networking website
- Assisted Homebuy in Wales - A new way to get the home you really want
- Targeted Support - How a more effective use of staff time can lead to more independence
- Individualised Budgets - The Governments vision for the future of adult social care services
